Description

Defendant was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to traffic, a second-degree felony under NMSA 1978, Section 30-31-20 (Repl. Pamp. 1989). After his motion to suppress was denied, Defendant pleaded guilty to the lesser count of possession of cocaine. The suppression issue was preserved for appeal in the Plea and Disposition Agreement. We conclude that there was a sufficient factual basis for the police officer to entertain reasonable suspicion of criminal activity, and we affirm. I. FACTS
