Plaintiff brought suit for workmen's compensation benefits for an injury to his right hand sustained while working as a carpenter in San Juan County, New Mexico, for defendant, Stephen J. Gabaldon Construction Company. After trial to the court, the trial judge made his findings of fact and conclusions of law, entered judgment in favor of plaintiff, and awarded plaintiff attorney's fees in the amount of $7,500.00.
