In October 2016, Sony introduced the Alpha A6500, a new mirrorless camera that boasts a very powerful AF system, built-in stabilization, 24 megapixel APSC sensor, touch screen and 4K video. This new camera follows closely on the heels of the A6300 but by no means replaces it. The Alpha A6500 is a compact camera that can shoot professional looking stills and movies that are of reasonable high quality.
