Food: What the Heck Should I Eat? - A Complete Summary
Today's dietary world is full of confusing information. It's hard to hear the voice of reason in such chaos. I've been in the nutritional space for more than three decades, and even the so-called experts keep on changing their opinions, so how the heck is the average person supposed to keep track of all that? This book is my attempt to clear up some confusion for everyday folks just like yourself.
Because if you have been getting your dietary recommendations from the media or even your government, then chances are every single day you must have a hard time choosing the best plan for you. One day, eggs are proclaimed as a miracle food and the next day you're supposed only to eat egg whites. Fats were evil back in the day, and now carbs are the new devil.
Then there are new gimmicks such as low-carb, gluten-free, low-fat foods and cult-like groups such as paleo, keto, vegan, etc. And each group touts their method as the ultimate solution to immortality. If all of this information is making your head dizzy, I don't blame you.
But here’s the good news, I can finally say with confidence that I believe we finally have enough knowledge to construct a wholesome diet that is both healthy and nutritious. And this book is my attempt to help you show you that diet. As a mockery of my friends who religiously abide by the doctrines of their particular diet group, I’ve named my diet: The Pegan Diet.
